“There Won’t Be Trumpets”
"There Won't Be Trumpets" is a five part musical and visual presentation created by NYC trumpet player, Caitlin Featherstone. These five pieces are selected works of esteemed musical composer Stephen Sondheim, and have been arranged for a variety of musical ensembles all featuring Caitlin Featherstone on the trumpet. This presentation is the result of a combination of two of Caitlin's passions, the trumpet and musical theater. These five pieces were thoughtfully selected to capture the beauty and emotions of Sondheim's music through brass instruments. These five videos will be released on a weekly basis over the course of five weeks beginning Monday, April 29th 2019.
