Since moving to Brooklyn in 2014, Caitlin has been regularly playing in a number of ensembles and freelancing in New York City and surrounding areas. She is also the fifth and newest member of the “Deliciously Creepy” cabaret sensation, Orphan Jane. A locally famous ensemble known for it’s theatrical style and dramatic anthems. Along with this ensemble, Caitlin is in the process of producing a musical based on the premise of the band’s namesake.
From Teatros in Toscana to dive bars on the Lower East Side; from the Sydney Opera House to Carnegie Hall, Caitlin Featherstone has made it her goal and her passion to use music as her ticket to see the world and take everything that it has to offer her. These experiences have included several European tours, studies in Italy and The Netherlands, and a position as the Professora of brass instruments for the Asociacion National De Conciertos in Panama City, Panama.
Along with regularly performing, Caitlin enjoys sharing her musical passion with the young aspiring musicians of the New York City area. Over the years, she has maintained a number of private students and has recently partnered up with the Brooklyn Conservatory working as a teacher in a number of their public school music programs.
In her limited free time, Caitlin enjoys attending live theater and pursuing her passion of fine wine in hopes to one day achieve the honor of becoming a Certified Sommelier.
